WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Guide specification process to ensure priorities are worked on first and to avoid unnecessary work
• Knowledge of fabrics and custom furniture specification
• Oversee furnishings installs
• Conduct meetings and with clients
• Creating sketches to convey design intent
• Prepare and conduct presentations
• Daily meetings with team members
• Implement and constantly improve design process
• Sourcing materials when needed
• Communicate regularly with clients
• Communication & follow ups with contractors and vendors
• Serve as the primary point of client contact
• Set and Oversee project timelines and meet deadlines
• Hold team accountable for their success statements
• Coaching & lead junior designers
• Space plan and review
• Site visits and construction inspections
• Collecting inspiration for team and client
• Showrooms visits
• Custom millwork design and spec guidance and review
• FF&E direction
• Meet with Drafters to review specifications
• Directing team with design
• Review Mood boards
• Assist principals in tracking profitability and productivity

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Suggests what is practical for build / sustainable / cost effective
• Able to adjust specs according to contractors’ suggestion
• Great communication skills Team / clients / vendors
• Proactive - Go getter
• Great understanding client’s taste
• Ownership mentality
• Bachelors in interior design
• Experience in leading team members
• Knowledge in budgeting and US market pricing
• Understand space planning
• Able to suggest what is appropriate in style with wow effects
• 5+ years’ experience in full scope of design process from concept to completion of construction
• Lots of knowledge with materials
• Able to close projects

Salary Range:$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

Our Interview Process:

We interview with 4-5 meetings total in a span of 2-3 weeks. Our interview process is as follows:

• In-Person Meeting with Design Director and Project Manager
• In-Person Interview with CEO & COO
• In-Person Meeting to finalize details with COO & Design Director
• Initial Call with Design Director over Zoom
