Title: Senior Data Analyst | Revenue & Conversion Analytics
- Help build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver on new go to market strategies
- Involve problem frame-works, develop hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations
- Continually evaluate and refine your technical toolkit; teach what you learn to the team
- Synthesize complex data analyses and communicate clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization
- Be able to extract data out of Big Data technologies (i.e. Redshift) to produce clear and actionable insights
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional colleagues to drive strategies and tactics for growth
- Translate complex analytical tasks into actionable insights and easily consumable outputs
- Combine data from multiple sources to build various reports to identify trends and growth opportunities and craft compelling dashboards and visualizations to “tell the story” of the business
- A deep desire to prove yourself right or wrong and make smart decisions without ego
- Empathy and intellectual humility to build strong rapport and thought-partnerships with colleagues
- A self-starter with a curious nature and passion for data; you “think outside the box” and “around the corner” with fierce attention to detail
- Knowledge of affiliate networks and SaaS platforms (Impact, Commission Junction, ShareASale, Awin, Rakuten, Partnerize etc.)
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Python, R or a similar programming language is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Proficiency with BI visualization tool (i.e. Looker, Tableau)
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment and drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment; you display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals (wearing both hats simultaneously)
- Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation to drive actionable insights and decisions
- Strong communication skills - you can present your findings in a clear and articulate way to groups of various stakeholders to drive decision making through interpersonal and negotiation skills
- 5+ years experience in a quantitative role (ideal backgrounds include: a similar at a paid media agency, e-commerce or travel industry with experience working on Brand and Content Analytics)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; your major can be anything - we love diverse educational backgrounds, but you have a strong quantitative foundation
- Experience in building, inspiring, developing and leading a high-performing team
- Demonstrable record of professional and academic achievements
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
