United Healthcare is seeking a Voice of the Consumer (VOC) Data Analyst that can research, gather, and synthesize consumer intelligence, be the voice of the consumer, and gain a deep understanding of the Individual and Family Plans (ACA) market.
As a Voice of the Consumer (VOC) Data Analyst you will support the evolution of our VOC Program and consumer strategy. You will contribute to our success by providing customer & data driven insights across customer touchpoints, representing the voice of the customer (VOC) to advocate for customer-focused strategies and innovation.
You will be responsible for the analysis, management, and manipulation of structured and unstructured data while reviewing trend analysis, performing normalization operations, and assuring data quality.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze, report, track and transform consumer data and feedback to improve process, assess cost/value/satisfaction implications and make recommendations
- Aggerate multiple sources of data, inclusive of structured and unstructured consumer, benchmarks, and operational data
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned
- Support internal data, insights and research partners with consultation, project coordination and execution
- Assist in gathering insights and data from key stakeholders to understand the scope and impact of any potential causes or changes to the customer experience
- Support the preparation of reports that represent our customer’s needs, wants and expectations through relevant data points
- Contribute to the evolution of UHC IFP’s VOC program, including technical implementation of new platforms/systems/tools, data architecture, and ongoing data integrity
- Streamlining data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to key VOC data points and metrics

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, quantitative social science, or a closely related field OR 5+ years of work experience in data analytics and/or data management
- Advanced knowledge of both Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing data aggregation and visualization tools like, Tableau, Qualtrics and Power BI (programming, data collection, and data tabulations, dashboard reporting and analysis)
- Proven ability to write and present results to, and for, both technical and non-technical audiences
- 3+ years of professional industry experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, Market Research, or Data Analysis
- Demonstrated ability to collect, compile, and visually communicate complex sets of data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven solid attention to detail
- Passion for consumer experience with ability to serve as a champion for the consumer
- Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills
- Experience aggregating, analyzing and transforming VOC (Voice of the Consumer) unstructured and structure data
- Proven inquisitive nature with self-driven enthusiasm to detect customer journey pain points
- Experience working with consumer data platforms
- Proven customer service attitude with the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with a cross-functional team
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and able to quickly adjust to changing priorities
- Proven successfully achieving business objectives within set timeframes
