Senior Cyber Security Consultant

One of our top financial services consulting clients is looking to build out their cyber and risk advisory services team across the Central and Eastern Regions.

As a senior consultant you will be leading a team responsible for managing, controlling, mitigating, and designing client's risk management strategies.

Experience:

· 7+ years within cybersecurity working for a management or technology consulting firm is required.

· In-depth knowledge of Cyber Risk Assessment and Cyber frameworks (FFFIEC/NIST/ISO)

· The ability to properly translate security and risk management terminology into business terms for diverse groups of stakeholders.

· Awareness of security engineering concepts and practices across all phases of the system development lifecycle

· Ability to lead projects independently.

· Experience working on proposals and putting together solutions.

· Bachelor’s degree or Masters in cyber, information security, or another technical field

Day-to-Day

· Perform reviews of platforms and services to assess cybersecurity risks such as data leakage and unauthorized access, subsequently design controls to mitigate those risks.

· Design, develop, and implement security requirements that allow business requirements to be met with appropriate security controls present.

· Design and develop security policies, standards, and procedures.

· Independently lead teams and projects of varying sizes

· Develop high-quality content such as security automation tools, reference security architectures, and white papers to help our consultants, partners, and customers build on the work you deliver.
