Senior Controller Jobs

We are representing an industry leading FORTUNE 500 manufacturing based organization whose flagship campus is actively seeking a senior level Controller due a recently announced retirement. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Senior Controller will report to the VP/GM who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
• Responsible for 5 direct reports
• Site Finance Director will have total ownership and accountability over the Accounting, Finance, and Reporting function of the facility (600+ employees, $150M revenue)
• Responsible for leading month end close process
• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
• Participate in projects and support CFO, Senior Director of Finance, and Operations Leadership.
• Candidate will report to the GM and will have a strong working relationship with the NA Director of Finance.
• Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures

POSTION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding Standard Cost and Variance Analysis (experience working with BOM)
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required.
• Experience leading month end close process is preferred
