Senior Bookkeeper Jobs

REMOTE | FULL-TIME or PART-TIME

Boulo Solutions has a client that is a remote cloud accounting company, looking to hire a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. If you live in the US, use QuickBooks Online, have worked with multiple clients running their books, want to work remotely, this could be a great fit for you.

Employment Type: 20-40 hours per week (your choice)

Pay: $25-29/hour

Senior Bookkeeper Requirements:

• 1+ years working in QuickBooks Online (Must Have)
• Payroll: Have to have actively run payroll for over 2 years in one or more of the major payroll platforms (QBOP, Gusto, Paychex, ADP, etc) and have had experience setting up payroll tax accounts in various states. (Use Gusto, so they can train if haven’t used it but used other platforms).
• Accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment. College degree required.
• Bill.com experience (nice to have but also willing to train if have processed high-volume AP with approval levels).
• If you own practice or clients, we would be open to them working for us as a W2 employee if they're willing to agree not to take on any new clients while they work with us and to possibly consider, if their clients fall off, giving those hours over to us.
• Cash and Accrual Accounting (full and modified accrual)
• Experience in multiple industries.

• Working with more senior staff, you’ll handle much of the day-to-day operations for our clients (transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)

• While you won’t be responsible for managing client relationships, you’ll interact with clients from time to time, answering specific questions or politely seeking certain information
• As you work, you’ll always stop to ask questions of your team when you aren’t exactly sure what needs to be done - whether inside a client’s books or another client system
• Your daily tasks will be cleanly organized in Karbon, our practice management system, a critical tool that will set you up for success managing work across multiple clients
• A 100% remote environment. We’ve been remote for 10+ years and are set up for you to succeed remotely
