Senior Art Director Jobs

Harley & Co. is an award-winning, internationally recognized creative and entertainment studio that specializes in media properties, experiences, identity design, and narrative content. We work at the crossroads of 360° campaigns, content creation, physical installations, and property-owned media.We are looking for a Senior Art Director to join our small, but mighty New York Creative team.

The Senior Art Director will be instrumental in the ideation, creation, and realization of pioneering ideas, content, and products. Projects will span various domains including branding, art direction, digital platforms, audio content, photography, and film.

Responsibilities:

Design

• Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are original and compelling.
• Combine artistic and conceptual direction to shape content, products, and experiences.
• Engage and ideate with a team of designers and producers.
• Stay updated with the latest design and technology trends.
• Craft and refine engaging digital platforms.
• Organize and structure your work for team reviews and client presentations.
• Establish and oversee a content “studio” to enhance content capture and creation.
• Offer insights and expertise in film and photo projects.

Leadership

• Discover and introduce innovative creative tools and mediums to the team for potential project applications.
• Represent and communicate the agency's vision and values both internally and externally.
• Engage actively in client meetings to deeply understand their business goals.
• Actively explore ideas for professional growth.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and broader market trends.
• Maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Continuously assess and refine workflows and processes for better efficiency both within and across departments.
• Foster a cohesive team environment while promoting individual growth.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Understanding of the AI tools and how they operate such as Midjourney, and Runway.
• Ability to conceptualize within budget, and timeline constraints, and consider the target audience.
• 5+ years of graphic design experience.
• Broad cultural knowledge extends beyond arts and mainstream culture.
• Outstanding typography skills
• Mastery of the latest versions of the Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software as projects dictate.
