The Senior Analyst role will assist in the collection and consolidation of required information and data related to offshore operations. The analysts must also conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The role of the business analyst is also to capture, consolidate, and communicate the information from the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to the rest of the team. The business analyst is a critical link between the SME’s providing the business requirements and the rest of the team trying to construct the solution. As part of the analyst role, the ideal candidate must have a strategic thought process that applies critical thinking. In addition, this role requires excellent verbal communication skills as they will be interacting with key stakeholders both onshore at the AVP plus level as well as offshore vendor counterparts across multiple vendors and locations.


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate possible solutions to business issues in ongoing partnership with LPL and vendor delivery teams
  • Assist in the collection and consolidation of required information/data
  • Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Accountable for ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Participate in business process engineering projects with the aim of continually improving the efficiency of the business
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to the LPL Offshore Operations Team, deliver engaging informative and well-organized presentations, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Develop internal and external meeting objectives and agendas
  • As part of the program team, the analyst will work closely with the business units to understand staffing needs based on forecasting/trend Analysis, needs/requirements analysis, and quantitative analysis.
  • Primarily interacts with internal peers and management as well as senior management. Interaction with Operations, Compliance and Legal teams. Will also interact externally with offshore vendors staff and management.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree


Core Competencies:


  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Identify inconsistencies within data, missing data fields, proposing solutions
  • Data management; ‘slicing and dicing’ data to support business reporting
  • Travel: Approximately < 10%
  • Team-oriented, pro-active, well-organized and able to work in a time critical environment.
  • Convert analysis to audience specific presentations (high level to extremely detailed)
  • Attention to detail, and ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to multitask with good time management skills
  • Produce automated reporting
  • Willing and able to work additional hours as needed.
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project
Preferences:
  • 5 + years’ experience with Financial Services or banking focus
Pay Range:
$70,480-$105,720/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
