About The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will partner with our accounting team to support the month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit compliance. In this role, you may have the opportunity to lead and/or support process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy. This role is ideal for a self-starter and self-manager, who has a strong accounting background, and for someone who is willing to “get into the weeds” and drive tasks and projects to completion. What You Will Do

• Participate in finance transformation projects, including automation, workflow build-out, and analytical reporting.
• Support month-end close process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers, prepare or review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as analyze account variances.
• Work as a liaison to external auditors.
• Actively drive continuous improvement opportunities in process, policies, and standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, year-end financials in compliance with applicable reporting standards.
• Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP.
• Execute and advise on internal controls and SOX compliance for business functions.

What We're Looking For

• Enterprise Accounting system experience required with strong consideration given to anyone who has worked with NetSuite.
• Excellent time-management skills to function efficiently in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience using PowerBI, Power Automate, and other automation tools a plus.
• CPA, CIA, or CMA preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to properly apply US GAAP.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience.
• Experience with fixed asset management and expense accruals a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to quality work product, time management, and project delivery.
• Well-grounded understanding of monthly close process.
• Expert level proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and other professional platforms.
