Job Description

Illyrian Group is thrilled to be taking a fully remote, GL Senior Accountant search to market in 2023! Our client is a well-established, financial services firm looking for a current Senior Accountant with a command of GAAP and ability to work 100% remote. Oh, and the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and even a little bit of personality.


Overview

  • Prepare and record payroll journal entries bi-monthly
  • Prepare intercompany expense allocations
  • Mange relationship with third party accounting service
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Close books quarterly, manage monthly expenses and prepare journal entries
  • Review weekly AP/cash postings


Target Profile

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • 3-5 years of GL accounting experience, including: AP, AR, Treasury and Accruals
  • Excel, QuickBooks preferred
