Job Title: Security Engineer

Reports to: Senior Manager, Security Engineering

Location: Goleta, CA (Remote)
The Role
Deckers Brands is looking for a talented engineer to join our Information Security Team. This role is for a unique personality that thrives on deploying and maintaining cyber security technologies, as well as assisting with threat hunting and incident response. Information Security Team members work closely with application development, operations groups, and business stakeholders across Deckers Brands to ensure that new solutions are implemented, and existing solutions are maintained, in a manner that preserves the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer, employee, and corporate data

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • 5. Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the overall security posture of our clients.
  • 1. Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls to safeguard network infrastructure and data.
  • 4. Respond to security incidents promptly and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  • 2. Administer and manage Zscaler solutions to provide secure and efficient access to the internet and cloud applications.

$127,000 - $139,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
