Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Trainer (Back-Up) Multiple Shifts

Our Distribution center in McDonough, GA is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Trainer to work from June through Mid-September. This position will start immediately.

Starting pay is $17 per hour.

Description

Do you enjoy speaking with people all day and have a customer service focus? If so, this may be the job for you! We are seeking an exceptional individual who possesses excellent customer service, communication skills, administration experience or training experience to join our team! This individual will work on the warehouse training team responsible for all warehouse training.

The Trainer will train and conduct audits, job observations and will provide feedback to warehouse employees. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear and all employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Monday - Friday 8AM-430PM,

or

Monday - Friday 12PM-830PM

Job Duties

• Assisting in stock chaser/ Equipment training and Certification safety and operation.
• Act professionally and remain focused while working
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Document the audits by completing required electronic reports
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Assisting in Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
• Safely operate warehouse equipment
• Assisting with Evaluating / Auditing employees in training and communicate issues ASAP.
• Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required
• Detail oriented
• Some Training experience in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
• Excellent attendance and performance
• Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively
• Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals
• Ability to read and speak English
• Must be in good standing
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Physical Demands

In performing the job of a Puller, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires to drive a Stock Chase, occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of warehouse machinery.

Work Environment

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
