Scientist/Associate -Entry Level Cell Culture

The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), strategically located within the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, is situated at Levit Green. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a dedicated team of experts, C4B is poised to drive innovation in bioprocessing.

This is an entry and low-level position, suitable for individuals who are starting their industrial career and seeking an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recombinant protein expression using suspension culture techniques in mammalian cell systems.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Adhere to work schedules, conducting technical benchwork for projects.
• Report lab results and inventories to the manager.

Qualifications

• Minimal BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimal 3 years of wet lab experience in recombinant protein expression is preferred.
• This is an Entry and Low-Level position.

Requirements

• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills for documenting experiments and preparing reports.
• Background and advancements in novel technologies for conducting mammalian suspension cell cultures.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills in wet lab environments, effectively troubleshooting and overcoming challenges during experiments.
