Scientist/Associate -Entry Level Bioprocessing

The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B)is strategically located within the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas,at the Levit Green. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a dedicated team of experts, C4B is poised to drive innovation in bioprocessing.

This is an entry and low-level position, suitable for individuals who are starting their industrial career and seeking an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Report lab results and inventories to the manager.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform chromatographic recombinant protein and antibody purification, analyzing purified protein and antibody productions.
• Adhere to work schedules, conducting technical benchwork for projects.

Qualifications

• Minimal 3 years of wet lab experience in recombinant protein purification is preferred.
• This is an Entry to Low-Level position.
• Minimal BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.

Requirements

• Background in the novel principles and technologies of recombinant protein and antibody purification and analysis.
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills for documenting experiments and preparing reports.
• Hands-on experience in various chromatographic techniques, including but not limited to FPLC and HPLC. Problem-solving skills on the bench of the wet lab.
• Problem-solving skills in wet lab environments, effectively troubleshooting and overcoming challenges during experiments.
