Job Description

Job Title: Scientist II

Duties: Performs routine lab duties without supervision. Designs and executes non-routine experiments on a basis of literature analyses with minimal supervision. Performs all work in conformance with applicable regulations. Performs all work in a safe manner. The primary scope of responsibility is within the immediate analytical lab and secondarily within a multi-disciplinary environment.


Skills:

Knowledge and experience in HPLC/UV method development and validation for active ingredients. Good understanding of established SOPs.

Industry experience on GxP regulations preferred.

Knowledge and experience in Waters Empower software.

Practical familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.

Plan and conduct laboratory experiments; evaluate, interpret and report technical data.

Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working in an analytical lab in R&D


Education:

Master's Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline, OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with seven-plus (7+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
