Role: SAP VC Consultant

Location: Remote + 20% Travel to client sites

Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Position Summary

SAP VC Consultant’s responsibilities will include:

• Implementation in the discrete manufacturing industry
• Designing and implementing models using characteristics, classes, procedures, selection conditions, user interface, variant tables etc.
• Designing and implementing variant configuration models with the SAP VC module
• Design and implementation of Bill of Material and Routings within VC environment
• Integration of SD, PP, and modules
• Development of dependency knowledge
• Variant configuration in SD and PP modules

Qualification

You Must Have The Following Skills To Be Considered:

• Strong communication skills. Needs to communicate across different functional teams, customers, and partners effectively and proactively.
• Strong functional knowledge and experience in variant configuration
• Good knowledge of business processes in a typical manufacturing industry
• Possessing a bachelor’s degree and/or above in Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working with developers.
• Experience conducting workshops and leading discussions on complex topics.
• Ability to analyse project requirements and understand complex concepts.
• Experience working closely with client engineers and other stakeholders.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and tools.
• Experience with implementation of SD and/or PP modules preferred.
• Must have work authorization to work in US. Currently, we are unable to sponsor a work visa.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working as SAP VC consultant in multiple projects involving the processes mentioned above in the responsibilities section.
• Experience creating functional specifications for RICEF objects.
• Hands-on experience with mapping of requirements
