Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and motivating the sales and marketing team in innovating and implementing effective strategies to meet business goals and expand business opportunities for the organization. They oversee daily business operations, monitoring the company sales, and producing game-changing methods to improve the performance of the company in the market.


Essential Job Functions: (responsibilities, duties and standards of the position, including supervisory level and reporting relationship)


  • Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example.
  • Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition.
  • Develop strategic sales and marketing objectives.
  • Stay up to date on current market trends.
  • Establish sales territories and quotas, manage budgets, and evaluate sales performance.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to creatively reach more potential customers.
  • Manage and develop marketing programs and materials such as advertising, event support and online promotions.
  • Oversee day to day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market.
  • Continually assess our marketing techniques and strategies, and their efficacy in affecting sales.
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers.
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value.


Qualifications and Skills: (in terms of experience, education & training)


  • Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity.
  • Able to be persuasive and procure buy-in.
  • Goal-oriented
  • Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in management.
  • Awareness of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future.
  • Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media.
