GE Appliances is a leader in the Contract Pro and Air & Water channels. The Demand Generation Specialist is an entry-level marketing and sales position that plays a critical role in helping build a pipeline of qualified B2B lead opportunities. In this marketing & sales position, you will be assigned a B2B customer channel and be responsible for developing a strategic plan to generate new business leads using lead generation sites, account-based marketing, marketing automation, and supporting the development of marketing content.

How You'll Create Possibilities
  • Provide email campaign, website, and SEM analytics and reporting.
  • Build relationships and rapport with potential customers (builders, contractors, property managers, designers, architects) to understand their business and what’s important to them. Use these insights to work with the marketing team to develop content and materials.
  • Build and maintain Marketing Cloud database to enhance marketing automation reach and impact.
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales team members in Salesfoce.com.
  • Launch B2B marketing demand generation campaigns to drive conversion; determine the best approach for sales regions, segment targets, and local markets.
  • Partner with GE Appliances Region Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Inside Sales team to identify and prioritize lead targets, build and maintain relationships to help facilitate lead conversion.
  • Track and manage leads generated from website, events/tradeshows, and lead generation sites (Dodge, Build Central, ALN, etc.) in salesforce.com.
  • Be a liaison with key lead generation vendors to enhance partnerships, optimize processes, and fully leverage lead generation capabilities.
  • Utilize marketing cloud and CRM tools to determine the best way to follow up with potential customers for your segments that will drive conversion.
  • Lead all activities related to prospecting and finding new lead opportunities in your assigned customer segments.
  • Provide regular (weekly or biweekly) CRM performance metrics and conversion status reporting to sales and marketing leadership.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in Business, Marketing or Communications.
  • Some travel required for domestic travel to customer sites, tradeshows and market visits.
  • Minimum 1 year of marketing and/or sales experience.
Preferred:
  • Comfortable talking to potential clients via phone, email and through social media to find new business
  • Organizational Skills - Demonstrates strong ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task on a daily basis
  • Initiative - Demonstrates resourcefulness, takes ownership and be accountable for your work
  • Experience with implementing and measuring marketing and/or demand generation campaigns
  • Communication Proficiency – utilizes effective interpersonal communication skills in the day to day operations of the department
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, customers and peers
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently with demonstrated history of strong project management capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
