Safety Manager (Based In Arizona)

The Opportunity (Based in AZ): Lead the safety and security team at the companies mining operations in Arizona. Responsible for the development and ongoing management of safety systems and training programmes to enable the business to meet its long and short term objectives.

This company operates multiple mine sites and processing facilities throughout North and South America, and is recognized for its strong leadership and high standards which you will be responsible for upholding.

Reporting to: Mine General Manager

Key Focus:

• Lead the development of the Site Safety Management Plan
• Incident response and investigation reporting
• Provide security expertise to minimize losses
• Provide support to the management team in all OH&S matters
• Hold regular safety meetings
• Develop SOPs, JAQs, and training programs etc
• Safety Training as required in OSHA / MSHA
• Promotion of Health & Safety across mining operation
• Hazard Identification and Incident Prevention
