Responsibilities
Provides site safety leadership by overseeing the company's safety program, ensuring adherence to company safety standards through primary safety training, conducting internal audits and site inspections at all project locations, maintaining company safety records and reporting requirements, maintaining the company's focus that safety is everyone's top priority, and equipping staff members and subcontractors with the tools, knowledge, and resources to increase safety, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.It is the duty of this role to advise Field Supervisors on how to implement and carry out safety on job sites.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Keeps General Superintendent informed of Safety Program progress, changes, successes, and
Inspects project
Assists Human Resources in managing the existing drug and alcohol testing procedures in all geographic
Maintains a program to have safe behavior for all employees that reinforces the commitment of zero injuries by The Clippe aviation senior
Develops and maintain task-based training for all workers on The Clippe aviation
Sets the standards of excellence for The Clippe aviation employees in matters of safety training and OSHA certification Maintain records of all employee training mandated by The Clippe aviation and state or federal agencies.
Assures that adequate, properly trained personnel are available to carry out the required functions safely on all projects and prospective
In conjunction with Human Resources monitors the return-to-work process for injured employees to minimize the impact of an injured worker returning to a Creatively identify the work an injured worker can perform.
Works with the General Superintendent to set the commitments of The Clippe aviation's safety program to be part of the business plan and see that the commitments are Also, report to the General Superintendent on the status and progress toward meeting those safety commitments.
Reviews and keeps current the SDS reference books for compliance so that it is a viable and effective communication tool for operations within The Clippe aviation
Develops and maintains an orientation program, including an introductory video for all new
Anticipates project safety needs and assist with required safety Monitor site safety communication to maintain training effectiveness (Signage, toolbox meetings, etc.).
Performs internal safety audits and inspections on all projects on a random basis. Instructs and train field workers in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions to eliminate hazards.
Works with state and federal agencies on inspections and issues identified, if any, to minimize the future impact on The Clippe aviation.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The attributes listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability appropriate for the level of work performed.
- Beable to read, comprehend and recognize safety standards and
- Highly developed organizational and planning skills, time management and written/oral communication skills.
- A proactive rather than reactive approach to the concept of zero injuries in the construction
- Abilityto travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or Industrial Safety and 5-plus years of safety management experience. Safety or OSHA Teaching Certification desires.
