Responsibilities
As a Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents and team members while protecting our organization's assets. Your diverse responsibilities will include:
Empowering Workers' Safety: Oversee the workers' compensation program, ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
Safeguarding Through Insurance: Coordinate the renewal process for various insurance policies, negotiating favorable terms to shield us from potential risks.
Optimizing Employee Welfare: Manage the company's health benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and other welfare benefits for our valuable team.
Championing Captive Insurance: Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements while optimizing our captive insurance program's structure.
Data-Driven Risk Management: Analyze performance metrics and insurance claims data to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and insurance providers to resolve claims fairly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Relevant Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., ARM, CPCU) are a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in risk management within the senior living industry or related fields will be highly valued.
Analytical Skills: Strong data interpretation abilities to identify trends and make well-informed decisions.
Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
Detail-Oriented: Your focus on accuracy and compliance ensures we are always prepared.
Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
