Returning Abc Family Seeking Education-Focused Career Nanny Manager

Schedule/Guaranteed Hours: The family is offering a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with 45 hours guaranteed weekly.

About the Family:

• Care will be for two adorable children: an active, inquisitive 4-year-old and her sweet, busy 2-year-old brother. The parents and previous nanny have used “Love and Logic” and have had an understanding of Montessori learning. They’d love for their next nanny to bring similar skills to the job. The oldest will be going to school full-time in the fall, while her little brother will be attending the same school part-time. The Nanny Manager will be asked to assist with pick-up's a few times a week.

• Both parents work outside of the home, but mom will be working from a home office part-time, as her schedule allows. She is also happy to help transition their new employee into the role and provide support. All candidiates must be ok with some parent involvement and support. Communication is also key, so updates are also very important for them.

About the Job:

• Standard vaccinations are required for this role including T-dap, the flu shot, Covid vaccination, and all suggested boosters.
• The family would love the nanny to join them on at least two trips a year for 4-5 days at a time. One trip will be to Aspen, and the other, domestic as well.
• All standard nanny manager duties are needed. They would like someone to create a weekly/monthly schedule based on the children’s needs, ages, and interests are important. They also need someone who can tidy the children’s rooms and play areas, do the children’s laundry and linens, and unload/load the dishwasher, help with errands and meal prep. A nanny manager who enjoys cooking would be ideal, but is not a deal breaker for qualified candidates; they’d love someone to assist with family dinner preparation (meal delivery kits, etc), and make kids' meals. Again, this is a plus, not a must.
• The family has a housekeeper who does all the deep cleaning. Only child-related tidying is required.

The Ideal Candidate: for this role will have 7+ years of recent, verified, full-time nanny experience, showing longevity with families, and recent, in-depth experience with multiple children under the age of 5. They will have either a background or strong knowledge of child development and must be able to create a fun, educational curriculum throughout the week. The family is seeking someone who has an upbeat, cheerful attitude and comes to the job daily with confidence based on experience, deals with whatever comes up, and thrives off of schedules and routines.
