About the JobRestaurant Host/Hostess (Full or part-time)
The restaurant located inside Cincinnati Downtown Hotel is looking to hire a Host/Hostess. For AM and PM. Full or part-time.
Everyone is required to be able to work mostly weekend am or pm shifts.

Currently, we are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for service, outgoing personalities, and the drive to be the best to join our Food & Beverage Team Full and part-time positions are available.
What We’re Looking For
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
  • Great storytelling skills.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • All applicants must be available to work weekends.
  • This position is for Hotel Food & Beverage Department.
Functions Of Our Host/Hostesses Include
  • Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
  • Performs other duties as directed
  • Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
  • Takes names on a waiting list.
  • Runs the floor plan board.
  • Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
  • Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
  • Observes tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
  • Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
  • Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
  • Cleans, organize, and stocks menus in the host area.
  • Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Greets and seat guests present menus to guests and inform them of special catches and soups.
