Overview


We are seeking a Resource Manager (Remote) to join our growing team!


Responsibilities & Qualifications


Position Summary


Manage resource assignments across multiple projects. Overall responsibility for managing monthly resource billing, costs, and reporting for internal staffing and outside vendors/subcontractors. Prepares reports for upper management regarding services resources. Participates in and supports PMO function to support the business as needed.


A Day in the Life


  • Provide thought leadership to further develop and maintain PMO templates, processes, and programs.
  • Lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
  • Participate in overcoming resource shortages through creative planning
  • Maintain required project documentation, per PMO processes
  • Assist in managing employee workload and workflow
  • Work closely with project managers, consultants, and leadership to assign resources across multiple projects
  • Create additional services reporting/dashboarding as needed
  • Keep project management and management well informed
  • Successfully prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Assist in managing subcontractor resourcing, monthly spend, and invoicing
  • Manage monthly billing processes for services resources inclusive of prepay and deposit tracking
  • Create and resource projects within PSA tool
  • Prepare monthly services resource reports


We Are Looking For Someone Who Brings
  • Proven track record building successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels, internally, externally, intra and interdepartmentally
  • Other Skills:
  • 4+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity
  • 3+ years of related work experience in a company or department with a heavy emphasis on technology
  • Extensive Excel experience working with multiple workbooks, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Skilled at interacting with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Experience in performing monthly billing a plus
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Computer/Technical:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow up skills
  • Bachelor's degree or greater with related work experience
  • Ability to manage from the big picture as well as dig into the details when needed
  • Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as LiquidPlanner, Smartsheet, Visio, Sharepoint and MS Office
  • Strong client focus with exceptional collaborative and influencing skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with keen ability to deal with detailed, and sometimes ambiguous, information
  • Experience with complex contracts inclusive of discounting and application to projects a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
  • Experience:
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines, lead by example, willing and able to roll-up sleeves and dive into the details when necessary
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to manage large projects with exceptional project management skills
  • Experience tracking projects utilizing project management software
