Job Summary
As the R&D/Brand Chef for C3, you will be responsible for all culinary research and development. You will create new menu items that are unique and/or evolve current items that generate additional or incremental sales for the C3 brand. In this role, you will ensure culinary ideation is fully planned, managed, and implemented to all respective teams, adhering to the highest product quality standards set forth by sbe. This includes directing product conceptualization, menu execution, and implementation of new offerings. Responsibilities / Duties
  • Formulates and implements procedural guidelines, policies, and standards pertaining to the overall food and beverage operations, including but not limited to cleanliness and sanitation, profit and loss management, labor, and operating expenses, etc.
  • Build relationships with existing and new partnerships to maximizes/elevate brands and concepts.
  • Provides visionary leadership and management of the culinary team.
  • Develops standards, processes, and tools to assist in delivering consistent culinary products.
  • Obtains results of nutritional analysis testing
  • Creates recipes and formulations to develop new innovative recipes for the C3 brands.
  • Manages the overall execution of menus, preparation instructions, and individual dish specifications by ingredients and corresponding portion sizes.
  • New Brand Development in conjunction with different departments from a Culinary, Branding, Marketing, Financial, Development, Procurement and Supply Chain standpoint.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure menus are profitable and meet standards across the brands.
  • Arranges and evaluates product samplings.
  • Initiates, plans, and implements new product development projects.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Brand Chef or R&D Chef required with a strong culinary background (Latin or American cuisine required)
  • Serve Safe Certificate required.

Work Authorization
Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

Education / Experience / Credentials
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language
Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and interpret business documents in the English language. This position requires a minimum of conversational Spanish. Bi-lingual in the Spanish language preferred.

Travel
This position will be based at the Miami Corporate Office. This position requires the ability to travel nationally, to multiple business units, as needed. Must have access to reliable transportation locally, as this position also requires some time to be spent at the corporate office and at business units locally.

Lifting between 5 to 20 pounds is sometimes required.
