Job Description
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on mental health and well-being in the U.S. Army? Join us as a Research Assistant at the Department of Health Care Policy! We are on a mission to advance epidemiological research studies focused on mental health, psychological resilience, suicide risk, violence, and sexual trauma.
As a key member of our team, you'll be immersed in exciting projects that involve conducting literature searches, collaborating on surveys and research papers, and contributing to manuscripts and funding progress reports. Your work will play a crucial role in shedding light on important societal issues and contribute to making a real difference in the lives of many.
What You'll Do
Collaborate on research papers, manuscripts, and articles for publication and presentations.
Develop and test survey instruments, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective.
Coordinate materials for multi-author publications and support event coordination.
Perform library research to locate measures and scales for publication preparation and survey development.
Embrace teamwork, collaborating with a diverse group of individuals, from faculty to administrative staff.
Qualifications We Seek
A minimum of one year of related research experience (relevant coursework can count toward experience).
A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, or related fields is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
An eye for detail and the ability to handle varied and complex tasks.
