Research Analyst (Entry-Level) Jobs

The job

As a Research Analyst, you will support and contribute to various aspects of research team functions, including data gathering, data entry, market research, manager due diligence and monitoring, mission-aligned investments, educational material, and research projects. This role is collaborative across asset classes, but will primarily focus on private equity (buyouts, growth equity, venture etc.) with the opportunity to interact with all departments. The right candidate will have the potential to take on increasing levels of responsibility with experience.

What you'll do

• Reviewing and extracting relevant information from manager presentations, due diligence questionnaires, private placement memorandums, and external databases.
• Assisting in the preparation of asset class committee minutes, reports, and meeting materials
• Interacting professionally with managers, third-party service providers, and research team members to gather, enter, and analyze data.
• Running, creating, and distributing performance, market, and economic reports from FactSet, Tableau, Refintiv, Pitchbook, etc.
• Assisting in the manager due diligence and monitoring processes, screening databases for managers, entering and reviewing performance and portfolio characteristics, periodically participating in manager calls/meetings and writing summaries, and performing other related activities at the direction of research team members
• Creating and running manager searches

What you'll bring

• One-to-two years of investment experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business-related field (preferred but not required)
• Experience using systems such as QuickBase, Tableau, InvestmentMetrics, FactSet, and/or Refintiv preferred
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented office environment
• Willingness to pursue CFA and/or CAIA over time
