Remote Eap Counselor (Afternoon Shift)

• Document clinical information accurately in our case management system.
• Assess and manage high-risk calls, working closely with individuals at risk.
• Assess clients for suitability for short-term counseling and collaboratively develop treatment plans.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing service delivery and organizational policies.
• Provide Single Session Therapy to clients, engaging in warm and empathic conversations.

Requirements

• Training in crisis support, CBT, solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness-based techniques is an asset.
• Licensure or clinical certification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification direct client-contact experience providing counseling or mental health services.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) on the afternoon shift, Tuesday to Saturday (12:30 PM to 9 PM).
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Experience in assessments and use of clinical assessment tools.
