ANNUAL SALARY: Molloy utilizes a salary calculation tool that is designed to treat all University employees fairly and maintain internal equity with-in our compensation structure. Salary for individual incumbents is determined by skills and knowledge, position relevant experience, and equity within the University.

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Registrar’s Office provides quality services and support to students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and the external community through timely and accurate handling of enrollment activities and records according to academic policies, professional standards and governmental regulations, consistent with Molloy’s mission and strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that direct reports manage student information (e.g., registration data, transcripts, enrollment verification, etc.) with accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and in accordance with federal and stat regulations.
- Working collaboratively with a variety of academic and student service offices to support the academic mission of the University and promote student success.
- Serving on University committees, task forces, and other groups as needed.
- Working on projects as assigned by your supervisor.
- Ensuring that accurate enrollment information is reported to the National Student Loan Data System (Department of Education) and National Student Clearinghouse.
- Overseeing, managing, and certifying all student record documents related to degree completion.
- Providing leadership in the adoption, implementation, and upgrading of systems and business processes, including leveraging the full suite of existing technologies, software, and platforms to optimize office system performance and consistently enhance student registration, academic progress, and academic records.
- Maintain the course catalog, including course prerequisites, special restrictions, course descriptions, and degree requirements.
- Leading the team of the Registrar's Office, providing training, and establishing performance standards to ensure an optimal registration process for students.
- Monitoring information on the Registrar's website for accuracy.
- Providing leadership in the enforcement of academic policies and procedures.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of a modern student information system (SIS), preferably Jenzabar, to successfully deliver registration services.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of existing and pending legislation governing higher education policy.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in a registrar's office within higher education.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of student record management and "best practices" in registration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff, and contributing to a culture of inclusion.
- Demonstrated technical, analytical, problem-solving, and change-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all University constituencies.
