Registered Nurse (Rn) - Pre Op Surgery

The primary duties of a Registered Nurse in this position include:

• Pre-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during procedures
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
• Monitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation after surgery

This is a Full-Time (60 hours every two weeks), benefited position, working 10-hour shifts with varied days and schedules. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
