About IV Therapy

  • RN’s on this team are happy and practice at the top of their license.
  • Members of the health care team collaborate to achieve the universal goal of safe, effective, and appropriate infusion therapy and vascular access.

  • Staff in this subspecialty provide education to and build relationships throughout the hospital.
  • The IV Therapy team at MGH is a highly skilled group of nursing professionals who provide a key clinical service to our patients.

  • Many members of the staff hold positions in various IV/Infusion/Vascular Access Nursing associations.

  • Primary response team for vascular access needs including intraosseous insertions during rapid responses and codes.
