Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in quality improvement process program. Utilize the nursing process in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients.
  • Registered Nurse provides and coordinates the care of patients/families in the Interventional Radiology care setting by assessing, diagnosing, planning, and intervening in actual or potential health problems, including evaluation of the patient’s response to the care.
  • Provide professional nursing care to Interventional Radiology patients, including documentation, assist with procedures/MD’s, circulating and scrub.
  • Ability to intervene in cardiac arrest, pain management, management of all categories of diseases and surgical procedures.

Requirements:

  • Effective organizational skills, computer skills, effective interpersonal skills
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license and registration
  • Ability to problem solve using critical thinking
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects/patients
  • Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Certification in area of specialty is recommended
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Bachelor of Science preferred
  • Critical care experience required in addition to all basic nursing requirements/credentials

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $30.9 - $3567.13 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
