Registered Dental Assistant - Oral Surgery

Dr. Gregory Olsen and his amazing team are seeking an energetic, professional and outgoing Registered Dental Assistant to join their Oral Surgery team!
Our surgical assistants are responsible for assisting doctors in the scheduling, educating, preparation, execution and follow up for patients receiving treatment in the practice. The surgical assistant helps to provide an excellent experience for the patient and helps to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the practice. The surgical assistant also helps to ensure a safe and sterile environment in which to perform treatment.

• Ability to handle stress in a professional and mature method
• OS experience highly desired
• Familiar with dental records, charts, and documentation
• Have an excellent understanding of oral surgery procedures and exceptional hand-eye coordination.
• Experience using surgical equipment, instruments, and materials.
• Ability to complete training in three months
• Ability to interact with various types of personality internally and externally
• WinOms software experience a plus
• Understanding of surgical techniques, chairside responsibilities, and health and safety protocols.

Position is FT Medical/Dental/Vision; 401k; vacation

Successful candidates should have at least 1-2 years of solid surgical experience

Willing to train the right candidate!

OMSA or DAANCE certifications preferred

• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized and attentive to patients' needs
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or vocational certification preferred
