Regional Sales Manager - US and Latin America Pumps

Purpose
Regional Sales Manager Role focused on Trillium Flow Technologies pump brands in the United States and Latin America markets (excluding US and Canada Municipal Markets) with a focus on Floway Vertical Turbine Pumps, WEMCO (Hydrogritter, Torque, Flow, Screw-Flow, WSP (Self-Primer, Chop-Flow, Non-Clog), Gabbioneta and Termomeccanica pumping products. The individual will manage and oversee the sales operations for the US and Latin America pump focused sales team, plan and implement sales strategies, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through channel partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Provides market intelligence for product research and development.
- Directs Regional Sales on channel partner sales forecasting activities related to goals, performance evaluation, and market and product coverage.
- Provides training, and performance evaluations to develop and manage sales plans.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, customers and key strategic partners.
- Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Develops and manages sales operating budgets.
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce highest possible gross margin.
- Reviews and analyzes channel sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Sales Director.
- Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
- Develop & implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Through an effective Customer Relationship Management plan, meets with key clients, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiating/closing deals.
- Develops and manages Regional Sales (RS) to maximize sales and achieve targets.
- Financial metrics: Develop and manage metrics for revenue and gross margin objectives for TFT Pump products, including preparing sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales/forecast and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years total Commercial experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience in managing Industrial sales team with demonstrated achievements in building sales.
- Demonstrated Background in vertical turbine and centrifugal pump sales a must.
Position Type: Salaried/Exempt
Annual Compensation Range: $145,000 - $160,000 (DOE)
Bonus Eligibility: Position eligible for a sale bonus of up to 30% dependent on individual and company performance.
Other: Car Allowance Eligible.
