Requirements and Qualifications:

• 10 years of On-the-job work experience as a maintenance mechanic &
• Must have a strong knowledge in Electrical Troubleshooting, PLCs, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• 5 years of Management Experience or a combination to equal 10 years experience.
• Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
• HS Diploma and/or Vocational Training in Industrial Mechanics and/or Electrical Program, Welding Skills
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Take ownership of all maintenance improvement projects in your region. Communicate regularly with Senior Management to provide maintenance updates.
• Play a leading role in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues and providing training to subsidiary maintenance personnel through this process.
• Play the leading role in identifying best practices and driving the collaboration efforts to ensure that best practices are duplicated in your region.
• Provide continual training for maintenance personnel on development/training needs and safe working conditions.
• Utilize maintenance management software and other technologies to advance and streamline processes.
• Play a key role in terms of working with all equipment vendors and finding good solutions in this area; obtain bids and oversee work of vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance and Purchasing to ensure maintenance costs are properly planned and expensed, and in the formulation of budgets.
• Oversee the maintenance program for your region (4 facilities), partnering with Plant Managers to ensure success in the repair and proper maintenance of all operating equipment, to include collaborating with local management to ensure that we have the right maintenance personnel in your facilities.
