Job Description

Attention all property management professionals!

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Regional Property Manager to take charge of a portfolio of commercial properties and lead a team of Property Managers to success. As the Regional Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the property management operations of a regional portfolio of commercial properties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. You will also have oversight of all Senior Property Managers, Property Managers, and the Property Administrators within the region.

Key responsibilities include providing leadership and expertise to support, develop, and motivate team members to achieve company business goals, providing timely feedback to executive leadership and direct reports, and ensuring proper revenue management through vendor contract review and expense controls for the maintenance, repairs, and landlord obligations of the portfolio properties.

In addition, you will coordinate all aspects of property management, including the development of effective relationships with clients, supervision of vendors, general property maintenance, and adherence to performance goals and KPIs for the department. You will also work closely with Asset Management teams to forge a collaborative and cohesive environment that drives process improvement and creates greater efficiency in organizational policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success in property management operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for driving results. You will also have knowledge of building systems, including roofs, parking lots, and mechanical systems, and be able to effectively turn strategy into a tactical process for training and operational implementation.

What we need from you:

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Experience with analysis of technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with changes, delays and unexpected events.
  • Work within an approved budget, develop and implement cost savings measures.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a commercial property management capacity.
  • Able to manage difficult or emotional client situations, respond promptly and meet commitments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate or property management preferred, or equivalent experience in a real estate role with progressive responsibility.
  • Able to handle inquiries from clients, agencies, vendors, etc.
  • 10 or more years managerial and team leadership experience.

The base salary for this role is in the range of $109,501 – 208,901. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
