Regional Account Manager (Metals Manufacturing) - TalentZok
OVERVIEW
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for contributing to sales growth of the Northern CA, Oregon and Washing region through new customer acquisition, customer retention and growth opportunities with current customer base. In this role, you'll be in contact daily with current and prospective customers, managing opportunities and up-selling current accounts and will support all regional sales needs as outlined by the Sales Department. Immediate opening for a Regional Account Manager to cover Northern CA who possesses:
- Time management and planning skills
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Ability to build rapport
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Metals extrusion knowledge and experience is required
- Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Initial process of all NCMD (rejection and credit reports)
- Update all customer contact information, address changes etc. through Data Entry Change Document (DECD)
- Understanding fully, the prospective customer's requirements and making sure that they are a fit with current company manufacturing capabilities.
- Update quarterly, rolling, 4 quarter forecasts.
- Responsible for bringing together qualified, prospective accounts to company management.
- Attend trade shows and other industry training events such as the Glass Show, Solar Power Intl. Pacific Coast Builder Show, SEMA. Aluminum Extrusion Council seminars.
- Take ownership of the account.
- Establish all aspects of quoting, including pricing spreadsheets and engineering pre-sales.
- Provide all customer service support other than order entry and order status.
- Inspect on-site, all rejections with or without QC.
- Work with Credit to establish terms and support Credit in collections.
- Support existing accounts with new technology to further solidify long-term relationships.
- Provide written proposals for new and existing accounts.
