JOB PURPOSE:
The Recruitment Assistant supports all recruitment activities within the Human Resources department by assisting with all recruitment, hiring, and retainment efforts. The Recruitment Assistant aids in attracting and referring top qualifying talent to available opportunities, and will satisfy organizational hiring needs.
Position Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Recruitment team, Management, and HR leadership in all organization recruitment efforts
  • Review and screen candidates on open opportunities and forward to hiring teams for review, interview, and selection
  • Collaborate with hiring/onboarding team and selected candidate to carry out sound onboarding
  • Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to " Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."
  • May attend hiring events with recruitment team on behalf of Endeavors
  • Maintain confidentiality on all aspects of the HR department and organization information provided.
  • Maintain candidate database organization and accuracy utilizing ATS system
  • Utilize social platforms, including LinkedIn and Indeed, for job posting sponsorships
  • Assist interviewees to enable smooth hiring via answering questions and directing them accordingly
  • Serve as backup to Recruitment Coordinator
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine staffing requirements and candidate qualifications
  • Other duties as assigned, to include support of surge operations to support emergency staffing initiatives that includes large recruitment effort, extended hours and potential travel for prolonged periods of time.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year experience in recruitment assistance, database management, sales and/or social media marketing. Familiarity with standard hiring practices.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.
