Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for documentation control, records management, and consulting? Our client, a provider of enterprise content management software and consulting services, is seeking a Consultant to join their team. If you have a strong background in records management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide comprehensive consulting services to clients, we want to hear from you.
As a Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to handle the total work and consulting on projects related to documentation control, records management, and enterprise content management. You will work closely with clients to determine the scope of work, review records, manage records storage and removal, convert records to digital-electronic formats, implement document management solutions, and create reports and recommendations. This role may require on-site meetings with clients and occasional travel, typically 1 to 2 weeks a month.
Consultant Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze records to assess the necessary steps and actions
- Convert physical records to digital-electronic formats
- Implement document management solutions
- Stay knowledgeable about public disclosure and records management principles
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
- Meet with clients to determine the scope of work and project requirements
- Create comprehensive reports and recommendations for clients
- Manage records storage and removal processes
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel a minimum of 25% (all expenses covered by our client)
- 4-year degree in fields such as History, English, or Education preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Deep understanding of public disclosure and records management principles
- Previous experience working with Public Utility Districts (PUD) and K-12 records management systems such as Skyward ERP is advantageous
- Intelligent and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Post-graduate education in records management, information science, library sciences, or archives is a plus.
