Job Description
YOUR MISSION (The ):
The Spa Receptionist will play an important role for day-to-day and ownership of Spa Desk
The Spa Receptionists are responsible for guiding guests through treatment menu, accurately booking spa reservations and assisting guests with retail purchases.
The Spa Receptionist will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of department objectives, standards and guidelines and other administrative processes.
The Spa Attendant will be responsible for providing an elevated level of guest service, though timely, engaging and attentive serve.
The Spa Attendant/Receptionist proactively greets, interact and assists team members, fostering a positive harmonious work environment.
The Nitty-Gritty:
This role will work closely with Spa Manager to:
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygienic environment, including light cleaning, stocking supplies and linen management..
  • Assist in training of policies and procedures of all new attendants/receptionists
  • Assist in monthly inventory of retail supplies to track cost of sales and ensures company assets are accurately accounted for
  • Assist guests in the usual manner, whether on the phone or in person
  • Meet demands of a fast-paced environment
  • Take responsibility for questions or issues that may arise when supervisors are not present. Assist with additional job-related tasks as directed by Leadership
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues beyond authority of staff to ensure guest satisfaction while operating within established guidelines
  • Be knowledgeable about resort, spa offerings and treatment menu
  • Provide food and beverage offerings as part of the spa experience

MUST HAVE'S
  • Lift up to 60 pounds and push and pull up to 100 pounds of towels, equipment and supplies
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
  • Work physical in nature and requires the ability to balance, bend, carry, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, reach, squat and twist. These actions are required in order to assist guests in the proper use of equipment and to perform other job duties
  • Use the equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to exercise equipment, spa facilities, cash register and computer scheduling system
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience, preferably in a spa or related environment
  • Communicate effectively at all times, with customers as well as all levels of employees
  • Effectively and efficiently move around work area
  • Operate in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, wet/humid conditions, crowds and noise. Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as slippery conditions. Proper safety precautions are taken. This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided
  • Must be able to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Inspect and maintain areas for which responsible
