Receptionist Overview: The Receptionist will provide general assistance and oversight to ensure high resident satisfaction and care; answer telephones; greet guests; respond to residents' requests and assist in coordination of services to residents; assist in providing services to residents, families and guests. Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Receptionist Overview: The Receptionist will provide general assistance and oversight to ensure high resident satisfaction and care; answer telephones; greet guests; respond to residents' requests and assist in coordination of services to residents; assist in providing services to residents, families and guests. Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the Reception area for organization and compliance.
- Light cleaning in lobby, maintain presentable work station and front desk
- Assist staff in providing and coordinating services to residents, families and guests.
- Create and maintain an environment for residents, families and guests that is customer-friendly and that values and respects the uniqueness of each individual.
- Assist with coverage of the Reception area or other departments as needed.
- Assist residents and staff in solving problems if asked, include encouragement to participate in all that the facility offers.
- Oversee resident attendance at meal times
- Sort and distribute mail to individuals’ mailboxes if needed.
- Adhere to and carry out all policies and procedures.
- Answer telephone calls, direct calls appropriately, respond to call bells timely
- Welcome and check-in all guests to the facility
- Engage with residents to ensure high level of satisfaction and bring any issues or concerns to the Administrator.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by Management Team.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude
- Knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn phone systems and computer programs
- Enjoys working with elderly population
