Responsibilities


Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a RECEPTIONIST to join our growing team!


  • This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification***


Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 90-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students.


Position Summary


  • This position is responsible for meeting, greeting and assisting the public and Mountain Youth Academy employees. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clientele. The receptionist is accountable for answering high volumes of incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner. This position also performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:


Degree preferred in human services or a related field, However the facility accepts a candidate with the minimum requirements by the State of Tennessee as a high school diploma for employment.


Service Standards/Performance Improvement Function


  • Attends mandatory training annually to maintain competency.
  • Maintains licenses and certifications required for the position.
  • Promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the facility by becoming familiar with and complying with facility and departmental policies and procedures.
