Georgia Real Estate License Required For Position
PROMOVE, Atlantas largest Apartment Locating service is looking for hardworking, talented, and motivated real estate sales professionals to join our winning team of commission-based Apartment Locators. The housing market is down, but our tech-enabled business is thriving! Build a pipeline of future home buyers while making commission income now.
What We Do
As an Online Apartment Locator, you will receive inbound inquiries (no cold calling!) from new customers that are looking for apartments in the Atlanta metro area. PROMOVEs advanced technology enables Apartment Locators to engage in a thorough needs analysis and then create customized online Apartment Portfolios to help their customers efficiently select their perfect apartment. As a PROMOVE Apartment Locator, you will position yourself as the resource for all of your customers rental needs, providing expert counsel to help them understand the Metro Atlanta apartment market, neighborhood nuances, and specific apartment details. You’ll guide your customers through the apartment hunting process from research to leasing, and move-in. By creating great customer experiences, you’ll build referrals and repeat customers to enhance your long-term sales volume.

First year agents have the opportunity to earn an uncapped commission-based income of $40,000 to $80,000+. Quarterly sales bonuses and repeat renter customers can boost earnings to $100,000+ in year 2 just for rentals, plus any commissions earned on purchase and sale transactions.

Requirements
Required Skills
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques and customer service to present key selling points, features and benefits, remaining focused on the customers needs and expectations
  • Effectively communicate clearly and efficiently to build relationships with customers via multiple modes of communication (email, text, voice, updates to Apartment portfolios), providing a world class customer experience
  • Commitment to consistently reach monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Computer skills that include effective keyboarding and general comfort with commonly used software programs and the ability to navigate and learn to use proprietary programs
  • Demonstrate persistence, overcome objections, and strive to improve your skills and sales/customer experience performance
  • Aggressive commitment to customer follow-up with confidence to make recommendations, not just take orders.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the role through superb attendance, punctuality, and strong adherence to our code of conduct
  • Effectively execute our call scripting and sales process from opening to close
Required Experience
  • Experience following up with customers via various communication channels (voice, email, sms/text) during the sales cycle, and using consultative selling techniques to encourage the close
  • Experience working with a CRM system, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • 1-2 years’ experience in retail, outside sales, or call center sales with direct customer interaction where building strong personal relationships was central to success
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Active or ability to activate a Georgia real estate license (salesperson)
  • Ability to multi-task: such as handling inbound calls while entering customer data
  • Management of customer or product detail, which required reference to those data points often and on the fly
Required Attributes
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and communicate well with peers and company support personnel
  • Apartment industry and/or Atlanta area knowledge is a huge plus but not required
  • Highly self-motivated, energetic and results oriented
  • Ability and willingness to work a fixed schedule including weekdays and some Saturdays
  • Ability and desire to work 40+ hours per week
Education
  • Some post-secondary education preferred unless work experience is very similar to this role
