Who We Are Looking For

Cutting Dynamics is looking for an experienced Quoting Estimator who will be responsible for quoting new and repeat business, and for coordinating product planning / launch activity for new business awarded.

What You Will Get To Do

• Monitors status of submitted quotes (won/lost/other), following up where appropriate.
• Manages customer specifications library.
• Collaborates with Purchasing for purchased items in support of quotes.
• Serves as a primary point of customer contact (RFQs and quote-related activity, via phone, email, portal, etc.).
• Quotes new business (by interpreting customer design definition, specifications, etc., using sophisticated estimation tools).
• Quotes repeat business (by referencing historical data or other estimation tools).
• Develops and maintains customer relationships.
• Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptance (pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, etc.), negotiating where appropriate.
• Coordinates product planning / launch activity for new business awarded.

What You Bring To The Team

• Aerospace Experience preferred
• Must have 5-8 years of quoting experience in the Manufacturing Industry
• **Associates or Bachelors degree in a manufacturing related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may be substituted. **
• Sheet metal quoting experience strongly preferred
