Job Title: Lawn & Landscape Foreman Reports to: General Manager
Department: Location: Westlake, Ohio
FLSA Status: Full- Time, Hourly
Job Summary:
Ground Works Land Design is looking for a Lawn & Landscape Foreman to join our growing team. As the Lawn & Landscape Foreman, one will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients when in the field, overseeing a crew of workers and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee a crew size or 3-5
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Positively promotes the company culture
• Has a basic knowledge of plants, horticulture pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up
• Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Submits all required records in accordance with company policies
• Communicate with clients when necessary and address customer concerns.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicating customer needs to the Client Relations Representative
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, work site and maintains equipment
• Proficiently operate a variety of landscaping and construction equipment

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to work efficiently with little to no supervision
• Able to analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment a plus
• Effective communicator with the ability to be presidential when conversing with a client or fellow employee.
• Self-driven and positive attitude
• Adaptable to a growing team
• Detail oriented and organized

Educations and Experience:

• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in landscape and grounds keeping
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Able to work successfully with limited supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
• Able to lift more than 20 lbs.
