Jet industries is establishing offices in Texas and looking for qualified candidates to run point for Texas operations.

Primary Purpose:
- Calculate the projected costs involved in electrical projects.
- Electrical Estimators have the responsibility of evaluating the cost of electrical installations for projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize people and materials to meet project scheduled. Inform General Manager of any deviations from projections.
- Train and organize project and project staff to meet goals.
- Project, project labor and material needs and coordinate schedules with other staff.
- Assist General Manager in negotiating materials and equipment purchases.
- Track project changes and report any required changes to monthly billings to General Manager.
- Resolve design issues and questions by involving appropriate personnel. Push for resolutions to keep the project moving.
- Support other divisions and Jet Industries.
- Maintain high quality of deliverables and client expectations.
- Submit change orders and RFI s to General Contractor and maintain records.
- Periodically review project for quality and client satisfaction. Review of project in the field will be necessary.
- Review project contracts and ensure that liens and intents are in place.
- Assist General Manager in negotiating project bids and estimate project costs.
- Maintain and strive to improve company image.
- Maintain project budgets and maintain systems of checks and balances to manage project to achieve success.
- Generator project punch lists and verify that they have been completed.
- Ensure project is set up and that Foremen have what they need to provide a successful project.
- Understand Jet Industries standards and maintain them.
- Verify accuracy of material needs and compliance with specifications.

- Observe safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in electrical systems installation, design and project estimating.
- Must have proven ability to manage people and clients and manage projects for a successful outcome and achieve project goals.
- Must be able to cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
- TX or Reciprocating State Journeyman's License. All work in the greater TX area.
Physical Demand:
- While performing the duties, this position is frequently required to sit; look at computer screen; use hands to type. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- This position requires the ability to regularly lift up to 75 lbs., requires ability to bend, stoop, squat repetitive, regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs.
- This position requires to walk extensively throughout the job site during the shift.
- Ability to regularly kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion, ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during the shift.
Working Conditions/Job Hazard Analysis:
- Travel to jobsites nationwide required.
- Normal office setting: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Working outdoors in inclement weather.
