Quality Supervisor Jobs

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for management of quality manufacturing operations and staff, ensuring appropriate policies, procedures and all quality activities are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently review batch record and all manufacturing related documents to ensure compliance
• Ensure good performance of direct reports (quality technicains/auditors) by mentoring, training, performing evaluations and providing accountability
• Participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections. Provide corrective action response
• Provide Follow up on all quality programs including GMPs, Good Hygeien Practices, HACCP, Allergen Control, Clean and Sanitation
• Direct quality assurance technicians who are responsible for enforcing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Audit quality control of raw material, packaging, labels and finished goods

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of quality testing procedures in the food and beverage industry including analytical, microbiological and sensory evaluation
• Sanitize in accordance with SOP’s, HACCP, GMP, EPA, and OSHA requirements and product specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field, preferred
• 5 years direct experience and working knowledge of a high volume food manufacturing facility
