Quality Manager
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Quality Manager, are to:
- Be accountable for all areas of quality including product, process and system quality for plant and field Operations;
- Own manufacturing document control for quality;
- Ensure Row Crop Production teams are putting the customer first by partnering with Regional Quality, Manufacturing Excellence, Logistics & Customer Service teams to ensure key critical parameters are in place to deliver product right the first time;
- Ensure that the specifications/regulations in the ISO systems are implemented at the site;
- Support effective internal audit program on Site;
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders and operate as key point of contact for quality related matters including best practice sharing;
- Maintain a Quality Management System on site according to external and internal requirements;
- Be accountable for ensuring stewardship processes are understood and being utilized throughout manufacturing and reporting occurs as expected;
- Measure and report the Cost of Poor Quality occurrences;
- Support implementation of respective global/regional Quality initiatives, programs, and regulations.
- Support complaint management by determining corrective action processes and ensuring follow up;
- Generate Site Quality Management reviews;
- Assure departmental and cross functional disciplines are trained in all aspects of quality;
- Be accountable for all lab operations ensuring that processes are executed accurately, and operational goals and metrics are met;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Continuous Improvement mindset;
- Prior experience working or delivering within quality objectives;
- Ability to lead and work cohesively as a team member;
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years’ experience;
- Basic data analysis experience;
- Ability to build relationships, influence & collaborate cross functionally;
- Valid Driver’s License. In order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening.
- Skilled at leading, managing conflict, and negotiating without formal authority;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Understands manufacturing and impact to quality;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree disciplines in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, STEM related field or post graduate Master’s Degree;
- Prior experience working on customer quality issues/complaints.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems;
- Seed Manufacturing experience;
Domestic Relocation may be available for this position.
