Job Description

Pacific International, a global executive search firm, is currently partnered with a leading global water technology company on a search to add a dedicated and passionate Senior Quality Assurance Manager to one of their key manufacturing facilities. They are looking to add a zealous leader to their team to lead and oversee the daily execution and improvement of their Quality Management System for the operation.


You will be tasked with improving the overall efficiency and improvement to the quality function, focusing on Internal, Supplier and Customer Quality as well as the corrective action process for both warranty and manufacturing related issues. You will drive cultural change throughout the entire operation by establishing and upholding high level expectations and standards in alignment with the corporate quality strategy.


You will also be the acting ISO 9001 representative, and will see to the compliance of plant standards, certifications, and established military specifications.


Essential Functions:

  • Ability to forge cross functional ties and partnerships. Ability to manage time effectively
  • Oversee product-defect data collection and assist in directing corrective actions of top product-defect and warranty item
  • Proven track record in setting and managing business targets and achieving objectives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in applied science, or engineering field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
  • Actively lead the pursuit of an ISO compliant system supporting CSA, NSF, CE, and MTL certifications
  • Set expectations for QEs/SQEs to participate in the NPD process and kick-start process through active leadership during initial efforts. (i.e., participate yourself.)
  • Successful experience working in challenging business environment where skills/abilities were stretched.
  • Track Quality System audits and work with business unit leaders to close gaps identified in system audits.
  • 7+ years prior experience in Quality Assurance for a consumer product manufacturer
  • Lead the internal quality department in disciplined data driven plant floor improvement
  • Prepare monthly reports that outline improvement activities for the month as well as current customer and supplier PPM levels and any returns/defects for the month
  • Advanced certification as a CQE, CQM, LSS greenbelt or blackbelt a plus.
  • Prior experience with ASME Code compliance
  • Experience in a Union manufacturing environment preferred
