Quality Lead Jobs

Blume Global, now part of the WiseTech Global group of companies, is seeking to hire a Quality Lead. As a Quality Lead in the Blume Global Quality Engineering Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions. You will lead quality assurance efforts, mentor/coach QA teams members, implement best practices, drive automation initiatives and contribute to the development of cutting-edge supply chain transportation and logistics solutions while ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements and user stories.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in quality assurance, testing, and automation.
• Drive the implementation of test automation tools and frameworks, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage by converting manual test cases into automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define quality-related KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports on product quality and testing progress.
• Oversee quality reviews, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Continuously monitor and report on product quality metrics, driving improvements and implementing proactive measures to prevent defects.
• Foster a culture of quality and innovation within the organization, championing continuous improvement and defect prevention.
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, standards, and methodologies for our core supply chain transportation, logistics and visibility products.
• Lead and manage a team of QA analysts / engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
• Plan and execute testing strategies, including functional, regression, integration, end to end scenarios, and performance testing, to ensure software meets high-quality standards.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in test management tools, issue tracking systems, and relevant software development methodologies.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and testing, with a minimum of 5-7 years in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and team management skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages and test automation tools (Selenium, Java, Python or any scripting language) – having latest hands on experience in automation a definite plus.
• Strong hands-on experience working with Defect and Test Management tools like JIRA and TestRail
• Strong experience working in a SaaS enabled environment with product(s) supporting multi-tenant features/capabilities.
• Understand core product data models and be able to write SQL Query Language (MySQL – preferred).
• Any relevant certifications in quality assurance, testing, or related areas would definitely be a plus.
• A very strong experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics and visibility domain - a definite plus.

**Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year**
